Support - QC Standards

We strive for the highest quality standards and aim to document the areas we check and qualify for whether something is considered A stock or B stock.

Case

  • The external faces of the case should all be consistent in finish with no dings or blemishes.
  • The inside upper lips should be consistent in finish with no dings or blemishes.
  • On the inside portion of the USB port, there may be small gaps in the finish or minor scratches. This is where the case is mounted on a clip while it is coated and the finish baked to harden.
  • On patterned cases, the pattern may not extend below the lip to the insides of the case.

Plate

  • All plates should have consistent finishes on the top surface.
  • On plates that have a Cerakote finish, are raised/visible services should be consistent and mark free. Switch openings may have some inconsistencies, as the finish is sprayed on and may not get all sides and corners on all switch pockets.

PCB

  • All PCBs are fully tested for functionality before shipping and are pre-flashed with the latest firmware.
  • If the keyboard is pre-assembled, the switches are all tested fully tested after soldering to ensure functionality.
  • Connectivity with Via will be tested before shipping.

Weights

  • Weights should be free of any dings or marks, other than the engraved pattern.
  • Brass weights will patina over time. They typically are not seal coated. Patina won't necessarily be consistent across the entire surface. Handling with bare hands may also contribute to patina.
