What's Suspicious?

Context

Not Suspicious is a totally and completely legitimate endeavor, honestly. The name was meant as an oxymoron, I saw the domain was available, so I nabbed it up and sat on it for over 10 years. It was too good to give up. A use for it would arise some day...

Origin

Not Suspicious took form in 2025. It started out with building "community edition" heatsinks for the Raspberry PI Compute Module 5s that worked with the Compute Blade Kickstarter project.

In 2026, started branching out with experimenting in some other PC-related areas and eventually found my way towards mechanical keyboards and developed a full line up.

Approach

The brains behind Not Suspicious is Ken Robertson. Ken is an artisanal software developer who worked in the days where all code was hand crafted. After a life crafting code, I looked for other opportunities and ventured into the world of CNC machining.

I became friends with a number of EDC (Every Day Carry) makers who make knives, pens, and fidget spinner. My approach to the keyboard space is to mimic the EDC approach. Rather than outsource overseas for manufacturing, I make everything in house. Rather than one time group buys, I continuously make them and treat the lineup as something evolving. Rather than preordering, you buy what you see.
